Bio: I'm from the US - Raised on the east coast in Boston Mass and Southern PA. I lived in Austria and Germany for a few years after high school and then I got a BA in linguistics at BYU in Utah. After Utah I was back east living in Long Island NY and the Maryland Eastern Shore. Now I'm doing an MA in anthropology at AUC in Cairo.

I'm addicted to all kinds of outdoors-y activities. My favorite activities just depend on what is available where I am. In PA I did a lot of hiking and caving; in Utah I was rock climbing, backpacking, and peak-bagging. In Austria I was in the Alps every weekend... And so on.

I have been biking as long as I can remember. But I really got into it as a sport about five years ago. I started out doing a lot of cross country and road biking and then moved to freeride and downhill. Now I'm excited to go out and ride/scout trails in Wadi Degla and the Sinai and be part of a unique group of riders here!
